Fractional CO2 laser vaporises microscopic columns of skin, driving the most powerful resurfacing available — for deep acne scars, etched lines, and discrete lesions like moles and skin tags. Expect 5–10 days of visible recovery per session.
CO2 sits at the aggressive end of the ladder and Korean dermatologists use it selectively — often in targeted mode (scar-by-scar, mole removal, eyelid resurfacing) rather than full-face, and with strict pigmentation aftercare because post-inflammatory darkening is the main risk in medium skin tones.
For visitors it demands honest scheduling: a full-face fractional CO2 session belongs at the very start of a two-week trip, or on a trip planned around it. Spot mole removal, by contrast, heals discreetly under flesh-toned tape within days — a classic low-cost Seoul errand.
